Drawn from the Museum's fine collection of Chinese Art are Ming and Qing dynasty paintings and calligraphy that promote ideals of the cultivated scholar and reflect wishes for living in prosperity and harmony with the universe. In this intimate scene, the pair of quails signifies abundant peace.
